Sample Kitchen
Plans & Drawings
Here are some samples of our work. There is a
detailed floorplan and elevations for the Fitter to
work from. There is a birdseye drawing and 3D
pictures of the finished kitchen.
This is a real kitchen plan; we’ve included some
snapshots of the room on the next page.
The room presented a bit of a challenge. The house was
Victorian with very high ceilings and yet the available kitchen
space was cramped. All the services had to be included (no utility
room) and dining space whilst keeping a clear thoroughfare to
the garden.
Part of the answer was a table on castors which could be docked
out of the way under a specially shaped worktop.
Even the largest standard size wall cabinets would have looked lost
against the high ceiling - so we came up with ‘triple’ solution (one
lift up door, two normal doors per cabinet). This meant that no
storage space was wasted and there was plenty of room to hide the
wall mounted boiler.
Above: a birdseye picture gives a clear
idea of how the room will work in terms of
traffic and workflow. Ideally we would like
to have a more rounded corner to the left
of the door - but we had to fit an
integrated fridge here.
Left: an elevation is produced for each
wall or group of cabinets.
