Measurements To design your kitchen we need a sketch with measurements of your room. It doesn’t have to be to scale, or particularly neat.  The drawing below may seem a bit rough and ready but it is perfectly adequate.  A computerised drawing of the room is shown below. Mouse over different parts of the sketch for detailed instructions. example of hand drawn sketch with dimensions CAD drawing of small kitchen with high ceiling. example of floorplan generated by computer 3D rendering of plan We prefer measurements in millimetres, but if you’re not comfortable with metric we can convert from feet and inches. You can post us a paper copy of your drawing, or scan and email it. We also need photographs right round the room - and of any ceiling detail, like the beam, or skylights.
